Protecting Nature Through Community Action
Restoring native biodiversity, guarding precious water bodies, and fostering sustainable village habitats across Lucknow and the Gomti river basin.
Why Community Environmental Action is Urgent
The Indo-Gangetic plains face accelerating ecological stress: depleting groundwater tables, erratic monsoon patterns, loss of ancient shade trees, and accumulating plastic waste in village commons.
In our Memorandum of Association, environmental stewardship is designated as a co-equal priority alongside education. We recognize that vulnerable families, particularly rural women who walk miles for water and fuel, bear the primary brunt of environmental degradation.
By mobilizing village women, school students, and farmer collectives, we turn local conservation into a tangible daily practice through tree planting, traditional pond rejuvenation, and zero-chemical farming.
Regenerative Rural Action
Our environmental campaigns focus on low-cost, native ecological solutions—native Neem, Peepal, and Jamun saplings with high drought tolerance, and village soak pits constructed from locally sourced brick ballast.
Four Action Areas of Environmental Guardianship
Structured grassroots solutions designed for long-term ecological balance and community health.
Native Tree Plantation
Mass afforestation along village thoroughfares and panchayat land using climate-resilient native species.

Recharging shallow groundwater through soak pits and restoring traditional rainwater holding talabs.

Segregating plastic refuse and training women to convert agricultural biomass into organic vermicompost.

Encouraging rural households to cultivate pesticide-free seasonal greens for family nutritional security.

Creating the next generation of environmental leaders through hands-on nature discovery.
We establish Eco-Clubs in rural government schools and community centers. Children participate in seed-ball preparation, school herbal garden cultivation, and water wastage auditing.
Through interactive games and local biodiversity charts, students discover the importance of native pollinators, birds, and groundwater tables, carrying these essential conservation habits home to their families.
Active in schools across Lucknow, Malihabad, and Mohanlalganj blocks.
